We accept returns on most items within 30 days of purchase, provided they are in their original condition and packaging.
Return Conditions:
- Items must be unused and in original packaging
- Proof of purchase required (receipt or order confirmation)
- Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase
- Items must be in resaleable condition
- Original tags and labels must be attached

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund promptly to your original payment method.
Refund Details:
- Refunds processed within 1-2 working days
- Refunded to original payment method
- Delivery charges refunded if item is faulty
- Email confirmation sent when refund is processed
- Bank processing may take 3-5 additional days
- If you received free Next Working Day Delivery on your order the cost of £6.95 + Vat will be deducted from your order for unwanted returns

⚠️ Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned once opened or used. These include:
- Cut-to-size materials (timber, glass, etc.)
- Special order or custom-made items
- Opened chemicals, adhesives, or sealants
- Electrical items that have been installed or used
- Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)

What if my item is faulty or damaged?
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately on 01723 892122. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund including any delivery charges. Please retain all packaging and take photos of any damage for our records.
Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?
Yes, we're happy to arrange exchanges. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we'll help you find the right alternative product. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
Who pays for return shipping?
For faulty or incorrect items, we'll cover all return costs. For change-of-mind returns, you're responsible for return shipping unless you can return the item to one of our store locations free of charge.
How long do I have to return an item?
You have 28 days from the date of purchase to return most items. For faulty items, your statutory rights apply beyond this period. Please contact us as soon as possible if you discover a fault.
What about my consumer rights?
Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you're entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty or not as described. For online purchases, you also have a 14-day cooling-off period.
